Sarracenia purpurea (Seed Grown)

The hardiest of Sarracenia! Can tolerate temperatures down to -40C!! This species stays more compact and lower to the ground compared to most Sarracenia. The more light received the darker red the plant will turn!

Sarracenia are best grown outside spring thru fall, and over winter if your growing zone is appropriate. These pitchers will catch wasps, flies, beetles, and many other bugs, they are extremely gluttonous.
