Drosera capensis 'Vogelgat Nature Preserve'

The classic and arguably easiest sundew is Drosera capensis, this species can reach 8" across in most environments and can catch everything fruit flies, house flies, gnats, moths, and in rare occasions even wasps. The cape sundew is extremely hardy, and is best suited to handle harsh environments. If you are getting your first carnivorous plant this is my first choice every time!

This particular location seems to grow slightly longer leaves, and a few less than the standard Drosera capensis
